Performance
The 2025 RAM 1500 offers three strong powertrain systems. The entry-level engine is a naturally-aspirated 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 unit. The two alternatives are a turbo 3.0-liter, inline-six, 420-horsepower engine and an upgraded version that puts out 540 horsepower. Some trim levels have a raised suspension, off-road shock absorbers, an electronic locking rear differential, and other upgrades.
Most of the 2025 Ford F-150 trim levels come with a turbo 2.7-liter, V6, 325-horsepower engine or a turbo 3.5-liter, V6, 400-horsepower engine. A hybrid turbo V6 unit is also available, and it generates 430 combined horsepower. For a premium, the F-150 Raptor and Raptor R have upgraded engines.
Exterior
The RAM 1500 has a brawny exterior design with a sculpted, muscular hood and rigorous molding across the lower perimeter from front to rear. It is available with numerous practical exterior features, such as up to 22-inch wheels, a tri-fold cargo bed cover, a RamBox cargo storage bin, all-terrain tires, skid plates, a power-sliding rear window, and more.
The F-150 has a classic truck design with a gentle slope down the hood, body-colored bumpers, and a thick definition line over the side doors. Its entry-level exterior features are a Class IV hitch and 17-inch steel wheels. Select trims are also available with larger wheels, power-folding side mirrors, and other features.
