The Jeep Grand Cherokee went on hiatus after its 2023 model year. In 2026, the model will return with the launch of its third generation. The Cherokee has been completely revamped throughout the interior and exterior, and it is engineered to keep up with drivers with active lifestyles.
In 2026, the Jeep Cherokee will be available exclusively with a hybrid powertrain. This system features two electric motors and a turbo 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine. The total output is 210 horsepower with 230 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard. The total range on a full tank of gas is over 500 miles.
On the exterior, the Cherokee offers eight inches of ground clearance, which is superior to competing models. The model shows off a flat hood with a wide grille that covers almost the entire width. On the flanks, the grille is accompanied by rectangular headlights. An LED bar accents the headlights on three sides. The beefy front fender has dark molding, and this molding extends across the sides and over the fenders. At the rear, you will find dark molding on the bumper and rectangular LED taillights. Exterior features include roof rails, foglights, and heated side mirrors.
Inside, the 2026 Jeep Cherokee has a contemporary look with a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen. Every Jeep Cherokee is outfitted with adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot warning, and keyless entry.
